Getting it Sorted – August’s Challenge

getting it sortedIt’s a whole new month and a whole new challenge. The past few months of my life have been taken over by a school craft stall. When a huge project consumes your life SO many things are left undone. The project wraps up and you are left with the fall out of all that has been ignored. That’s exactly where I am at.

Time to step back, see what needs to be done and get stuck in. (But I don’t think I can face cleaning my sewing/craft room just yet).

This month I am going to focus on getting it sorted.

The big things and the little things. I need to re-group and re-organise my life. Maybe you’d like to join me?

I have a few printables to help us out.

Firstly, I am going to take a look at the various areas of my life and figure out what needs attention. What little changes can I make to make those things better? What new habits can I introduce?

My poor house has been the most neglected thing whilst I have been crafting away. I am not the most house-proud (or car-proud) person at the best of times. But even I can see things need attention. I have made this printable to help note down the things that need to be done.

I am in a bit of holding pattern work wise – I am doing some freelance work but I am not sure I have found exactly the right thing yet. I have two small windows of time during the week when baby E is at care and Master I is at school. I always think I can fit about three times more than is actually possible into those windows. I think it’s time for some realistic goal setting and setting time aside for specific tasks to get me there. The time I have for work is precious and I think I might be spending it on the wrong things. This time finder might come in handy and the below printable will help with some clarity.

Do you need a shake up and sort out in some areas of your life? What do you do when that feeling strikes? Is making pretty printables just another form of procrastination?

Hi Robyna – I’m on board with you to get things sorted – not only for August but forever! How can one not want to get started, especially with your very pretty “to do” lists.

Oh my gosh! You have such a creative flair Robyna. These printables are adorable. You have put so much thought into them and the intentions for getting sorted are so simple and clear. Lovely job! I need me some sorting this month so I’m into this challenge. 🙂 Xx

Ohh those printable are adorable! And full of good stuff – tips and jobs. When the kids go back to school it almost feels like the new year to me, so a good month to ‘get sorted’.

I think every day is a new one and fresh page to start anew – why wait for the new year? Brand sparkling beginnings are always ours for the taking (I think I am good mood because the sun is shining and it’s a gorgeous day here!)

    • Robyna says:

Sometimes I spend so much time on those things, that I don’t quite get to the actual “doing” part – working on that, this month!

I love these – they’re great. I could fill every one of them. I just need a double of me to get all the jobs done, so I can crawl into bed and catch up on 8 years of lost sleep! Very motivating though. I’m going to give these a go!
