A little box of happiness: Little Lettie Boxes (Gifted + Review)

I am sitting cross-legged on my lawn. The white box with the Little Lettie Boxes logo in front of me. It has just arrived and I am too excited to wait. Packages in the mail are are a bit like that.

Oh how cute! What’s inside?

Nestled amongst pink paper is a gorgeous little bracelet from Sienna Vera. It’s in the pastel tones I love, complete with a tassel. I am such a sucker for a tassel.

On immediately!

The most darling little banner winks at me. I have admired Bek Halliday’s work on instagram for some time now. How exciting to own my own little piece to hang in my office and share a joke with. (I work alone, joking with inanimate objects is par for the course).

Wink. Wink.

The whole box smells divine, thanks to the vanilla and caramel Amali Soy Candle Co melts. I keep some to melt and some to stash in my smalls drawer. I like my pretty things to smell pretty.

Little Lettie Boxes

So much happiness right there.

So where did this little box of gorgeousness come from? You might remember that I interviewed Carly, the lovely lady behind Little Lettie Boxes late last year. At that stage she was preparing for launch, excited and nervous about what lay ahead. This month saw her first subscription boxes make their way out into the world and sprinkle their joy around.

I love the idea of the Little Lettie Boxes. You can buy a one-off box for yourself or someone special or you can buy a subscription. There are a variety of different boxes available, including mumma boxes, bubba boxes and mumma and bubba boxes. You can even customise something awesome with Carly’s help.  I opted for a mumma box (the boys have been spoiled enough these holidays!). I adore the idea of buying a subscription for a new mother – how lovely to break up those sometimes monotonous early weeks with something beautiful in the mail.

The boxes are thoughtful collections of special things. There are no samples or gimmicks. Rather, lovingly hand-made items by other mothers and a few special offers as well. How awesome is that? Small business supporting other small businesses. Don’t you just love collaborations?

If you want to order a box for yourself or a friend check out Little Lettie Boxes. As an extra treat, the Mummy and the Minx readers can get 15% off by using the code MUMMYMINX.

Do you subscribe to any boxes? What do you think?
Better than magazines?

Really nice – and done in such a lovely way that it does promote the businesses that contribute but gives something of real value to the person who is opening the box.
